Chrismutts Howliday Issue
Happy Chrismutts! Only a couple of days to go before Santa Paws brings me lots of treats and chewies!
Want to know the pawfect pub to visit during the festive howlidays? The Churchill Arms, located in Kensington.
The theme of this eccentric yet cosy pub is centered on Winston Furchill, woof, I mean Churchill. He used to be a top dog here in the UK and did some important, big human stuff that my doggie brain doesn't really understand. This pub is filled with memorabilia, books, pictures, and other trinkets of Sir Winston Churchill. There are also lots of other miscellaneous objects and knick-knacks hanging everywhere.
Back in the 1800's, Winston Churchill's grandparents were regular visitors to this pub. That’s what paved the way for renaming it in Churchill’s honour after World War II.
The pub is popular with both locals and tourists alike and can get extremely busy. I have to keep a close eye on my paws and tail to make sure no one steps on them!
At Chrismutts time, this pub has the most fur-nomenal Christmas light display EVER! Some years the outside is decorated with over 100 Christmas trees and more than 22,500 lights! Makes me dog-tired thinking about all the work that goes into that every year.
Time for this pup to go deck the paws with boughs of holly. Happy Chrismutts from Bear!
